Commercial Director - Award Winning Airline - London. An excellent opportunity for an experienced sales/marketing/commercial professional to join this highly reputable airline based in London. You will be responsible for leading a small team and maximising airline revenues in the UK and Ireland through all distribution channels.
Commercial Director Responsibilities
You will be responsible for creating and implementing the UK&I sales and marketing strategy, managing distribution channels to maximise load factor and revenues and contributing to the budget management/approval process. You will act as the face of the business, representing the airline to the industry whilst developing relationships with clients, institutions and partners. You will have both office based and remote management responsibilities including the motivation, setting of objectives and targets for those under your remit.
Commercial Director Skills Required
- Substantial experience in the airline industry, at last 5 at a management level
- Track record of exceeding targets within sales and distribution context
- A sound understanding of marketing (including digital), brand development and revenue management
- Inspirational people leadership skills, a track record of getting the best out of teams and managing remote workers
- Financially and commercially astute
- Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
- University degree in relevant field such as transport management, sales, marketing or business
Commercial Director Package
A highly competitive salary + bonus scheme depending on experience, to be discussed on application.
